BOB’S PRO TIP
Never use ANY abrasives on an aluminum surface you intend to weld. Some disks say “For Aluminum Only”, which is true, but these disks leave abrasive debris buried in the aluminum and not intended for the aluminum weld zone. Most standards (ie: GMN3903) specify Carbide Burrs fluted for aluminum.
